Operations Manager Employer: Town of Arborg Location: Arborg, MB Application Deadline: TBD

Job Description:

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Operations Manager is a senior management position in the Town of Arborg responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Town of Arborg including, but not limited to, the Water & Sewer Utility and Public Works Department. Preferences will be given to candidates possessing the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Minimum education of High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong background in leadership, supervision, and performance management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience using a wide range of computer programs such as MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Additional training or safety certificates would be an asset.
  • Class I Water and Wastewater Facility Operators Certificate would be an asset.
  • A Driver’s License valid in the Province of Manitoba.
  • In accordance with Town of Arborg policy, this position requires as a condition of employment that you provide a Criminal Record Check that is acceptable to the Town of Arborg.
