2025 District Director Elections
During the 2025 June District Meetings (JDMs), the AMM will be conducting elections for the AMM Board of Directors in all seven (7) Districts. Each District is entitled to two (2) Directors per District.
Eligibility: Only elected municipal officials may nominate a candidate. Any elected official (Head of Council, Mayor, Reeve, Councillor) is eligible for nomination.
Nomination Process:
- Download the Nomination Form, which includes candidate’s acceptance.
- Submit the completed form to AMM Executive Director Denys Volkov at dvolkov@amm.mb.ca by June 1, 2025 at 4:30 PM.
- The elected individuals will serve on the AMM Board of Directors until June 2027.
Candidate information will be added as received, and candidates will be listed alphabetically by last name.

Voting Procedures
Date of District Elections:
- Central District: Monday, June 9, 2025
- Eastern District: Tuesday, June 10, 2025
- Interlake District: Wednesday, June 11, 2025
- Parkland District: Tuesday, June 17, 2025
- Midwestern District: Wednesday, June 18, 2025
- Western District: Thursday, June 19, 2025
- Northern District: Wednesday, June 25, 2025
Nominated candidates will have up to 3 minutes to address the delegates at their respective District meeting; the candidates that receive the two highest votes will be declared elected. Voting will take place on the day of each District meeting and all elected officials and CAOs from the District are entitled to vote during the District meeting.
