AMM and Manitoba’s FCM representatives held several meeting with a wide range of federal officials in Ottawa to ensure Manitoba voices are heard before the next federal election. These included formal meetings with the Prime Minister’s Office, ministers of the Crown, numerous MPs from government and opposition, and with officials who will be working on election platforms for the various parties.
On the first full day of the federal election campaign, AMM President Kathy Valentino joined Global News Morning Winnipeg to highlight key municipal priorities.
