Job Description:

The Municipality of Killarney–Turtle Mountain is accepting applications for a Planning & Development Officer / Building Inspector. This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to the zoning by-law, development plan, and building by-law, and applying these regulations in all planning and building activities while providing guidance to residents, contractors, and developers.

Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with the public and maintain a positive, professional attitude
• Knowledge of planning principles and Manitoba building, plumbing, and fire codes
• Certified Building Code Official (CBCO) or willingness to obtain
• Background in building trades or equivalent experience
• Class 5 Driver’s License
